Cubic Prism by Japanese-born Stockholm-based textile designer Akane Moriyama is a large structure made of soft, coloured, semi-transparent fabrics and arranged in cubic shapes. It is suspended between two buildings at the Goldsmith Hall in the University of Texas in Austin. The installation changes in hue and shape in different light and weather conditions. After rain the remaining water weigh down the cubic form making the straight lines curved. With her background of textiles and architecture, Moriyama designs architectural and art installations for private residences and public spaces.
