In a major announcement, Hannover Fairs USA today revealed that it will stage Domotex USA at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta on 28 February-2 March 2019.
Domotex USA will focus on the American residential floor covering industry, with over 200 exhibitors showcasing handmade rugs, machine-made rugs, wall-to-wall carpeting, textile floor coverings and vinyl tile, laminate, parquet and wood flooring across 92,500 sq ft of exhibition space.
Launched in 1988 in Hannover, Germany by Deutsche Messe, Domotex is a leading global showcase for floor coverings. Domotex USA is the latest addition to the Domotex portfolio of events, already featuring shows in Hannover, Shanghai and Turkey.
Atlanta has a strong tradition of carpet fairs, and is well located to reach buyers from the main American markets. Furthermore, Deutsche Messe believes that the timing has never been better. ‘In addition, given the strong economy in the US, much is being invested in commercial real estate such as offices, hotels and shops. The number of residential properties is also growing considerably. These are good conditions for the sale of floor coverings in the USA,’ says Dr. Andreas Gruchow, Member of the Management Board, Deutsche Messe.
