Grosvenor Wilton combines retro designs and contemporary colour for the new Diversity Collection, their first retail carpet collection which is now at a number of showrooms throughout London and the UK.
One of the UK’s oldest carpet manufacturers, Grosvenor Wilton have in the past been commissioned to produce the carpets for the sets of ITV series Downton Abbey, Balmoral Castle and Buckingham Palace’s throne room. The twelve designs of the Diversity Collection are based on the company’s huge archive of classic 1950s and 1960s carpet designs – with the addition of contemporary colours. The designs are united by ‘a fusion of heritage and fresh new design’.
Announcing the launch, Grosvenor Wilton’s managing director, Malcolm Foley, said: “Our new Diversity Collection unlocks the huge potential of the luxury retail carpet market. With over 200 years’ expertise distilled into the new range…homeowners can combine unique style with the quality and pedigree that delights the most demanding carpet buyers.”
The carpets will retail from £79 per linear metre and can be fitted as a wall-to-wall carpet, runners or made up into an edged rug. Diversity from David Riera Films on Vimeo.
