Soane Britain has a new Moroccan inspired fabric collection for Autumn 2014 that would look equally at home on a fireside armchair as within a North African riad.
Creative director, Lulu Lytle pieced together the intricate patterns that make up the bold stripes of ‘Fez Stripe’ from her favourite elements of her own collection of antique Fez embroideries. The resulting irregular print contains a depth of pattern with different qualities that can be admired up close or from afar. The bestselling, ‘Jajim Stripe’ works in a similar way and is presented in a bold new Red colourway that accentuates the complex, flatweave inspired design. Three new colours are added to the Suffolk woven ‘Old Flax’ range of plains: ‘Ivory’, ‘Portland’ and ‘Patmos Blue’.
