These fantastic images are of Patricia Urquiola‘s installation The Revolving Room that was on display at Moroso’s Milan showroom during Milan Design Week 2013. The installation was a celebration of the designer’s first textile collection with Kvadrat, which comprises eight designs, and her 2013 furniture products for Italian manufacturer Moroso. Over 50 three-sided fabric covered panels were placed around the perimeter of the showroom, revealing embroidered graphics as they randomly turned. The panels took a year and a half to produce.

Behind The Revolving Room, a series of Philips luminous textile panels were set-up, covered in the new Kvadrat fabrics, projecting a short film depicting the slow motion movement of revolving objects.
