    The first edition of COVER (then known as Modern Carpets and Textiles) appeared in autumn 2005 with articles on Jack Lenor Larsen, Gunta Stölzl and Berber rugs. Since that time we have covered a colossal volume of rug, textile and interior design material, including the work of Paul Smith, Sheila Hicks, Grayson Perry, Gio Ponti and Ernesto Neto. Our covers have featured artist LINDER’s red lipped lady rug (34), tiger skins by Carini Lang (5), a blood-red Timorous Beasties textile (2) and the Circus rug by the Campana Brothers and Nodus.
