For Maison et Objet in September carpet brand Stepevi will be launching two new rugs designed in collaboration with Austrian design trio Pudelskern. Fragment is inspired by the patina of antique objects found in a ruined castle and has an oversized classical rug pattern illustrated in varying shades of the same colour. The cracks in the paint of Botticelli’s Birth of Venus inspired the second rug Patina. These two new designs follow on from Stepevi’s collaboration with Pudelskern for the rose dyed Infusion rug range, which features in the Autumn issue of COVER, out at the start of September.
