Fiona Haines is a textile artist working in Bath, UK. Her beautiful work incorporates highly engineered materials discarded by many as the by-products of packaging, which are then stitched with vibrant coloured silk threads through bubbles giving an optical illusion — the patterns change as the viewer walks past them. The contemporary panels can be set into any wall/surface or used as an art/decorative piece.
Ebb exhibited in 2011 at Art in the Garden, Rococo Gardens, Gloucs and Stroud International Textile Festival.
“Schema is an exploration into colour, line, texture and the psychological effect on the viewer when the work is encapsulated and unable to be touched.” Fiona Haines
