London is full to brimming with talented artists and designers and there are few better places to view (and perhaps purchase) some of their brilliant designs than Cockpit Arts Studio, which has two venues – Holborn and the newer studios in Deptford. No doubt at least one of your favourite designers will be based in one of the two locations. Cockpit Arts holds two ‘Open Studio’ events every year, one in early summer and one pre-Christmas bash. The summer events will be held this weekend (7-9 June 2013) in Holborn and the following weekend in Deptford (14-16 June 2013). The shows offer everything from textiles, home furnishings and fashion to jewellery, ceramics, glass and metalwork from names we have grown or are growing to love. Whether you are looking for bespoke shoes, an engagement ring, something for the home or a present for yourself, you will find everything you need at Cockpit Arts.
