Jonathan Bréchignac, art director of Joe&Nathan studio in Paris, France, created these stunning carpet drawings, done using simple brio pens. Each piece can take up to eight months to complete, while the first one took a year and a half. Bréchignac wanted to create something enduring and slow-paced, something that would be the result of a longer process. HIs latest drawing, titled Ultraviolet -The Blue Carpet contains four hand-drawn QR codes which each connect to a website. Making its debut in Brussels, at Villa Empain, the work will be on display from 27 September 2013 to 9 February 2014, as part of the The Blue Route Exhibition.
