Artist, textile designer and colour consultant Ptolemy Mann maybe best known for her hand dyed and woven architectural, one-off artworks, but she has just launched a Mid Century Modern Rug Collection, which relate colour and design-wise to her previous rug designs of Red Vortex and Blue Vortex. The three new rugs have the same design, which was influenced by a design Frank Lloyd Wright did for the rug manufacturer Karastan, but each comes in a different colour way and they are titled Mid Century Frank, Green Frank and Cool Frank. They are available to buy on Mann’s new selling website, where  you can purchase rugs, fabric by the metre and artwork.
