Italian fashion designer Francesca Capaccioli Leony founded her own rug label Eudos after a trip to the East where she met a Tibetan carpet manufacturer and became fascinated with the ancient history behind making rugs. Leony adds “The Eudos Collection is a tribute to nature in all its form, by means of the designs shown on the carpet and the interweaving of fine, pure fibers such as banana silk, aloe, cactus, and cashmere…” Her designs have a distinctive graphic style with subjects that include butterflies, flowers and ice and a strong but muted colour palette.
