The upcoming exhibition ‘Casarão’ at the Casa Triângulo gallery in Sao Paulo, Brazil, marks Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos’ return to the venue, a decade after her last show in the same site. The work on show will feature her signature style of a multitude of elaborate forms of decoration, particularly traditionally-made textiles. Some work — Aquarela, Catuaba, Delícia, and Cravo e Canela – are covered in azulejos (Portuguese tiles). The exhibition opens on 31 March and closes on 10 May.
