To complement today’s Collaboration-themed Talks, on the Events platform, three companies reveal the relationships behind the success of their collaborative collections and custom projects: Topfloor by Esti is interviewed alongside the San Francisco-based artist Gianluca Franzese who specialises in using traditional gilding techniques and whose work Topfloor’s Esti Barnes has translated into six rugs for her new Matrix Collection; Choudhary Exports’ Ayush Choudhary is in conversation with designer Keith Pillow, Founder and Creative Director of DAAA Haus and the expressionist painter James Vella Clark, discussing their collaboration on the limited-edition Convergence collection; and Battilossi presents testimonials from four international clients who explain the varied custom capabilities of the brand.

Two presentations explain two companies’ design processes: Barbara Barran, Classic Rug Collection founder, talks through her approach to designing the first rugs based on Frank Lloyd Wright designs to be released for more than two decades and Battilossi unveils its revolutionary Caleido Concept, a user-friendly system that utilises sophisticated rugs to decorate a house.
