The Mangas rug collection that Patricia Urquiola designed for Spanish company GAN, has expanded to include pouf designs, using the same knitted wool effects that made the carpets so interesting and innovative.
Robin Gray has just released a new rug collection, which marks somewhat of a departure in design for the Santa Fe rug producer. The three designs Viola, Isabelle and Florence adapt traditional carpet elements into contemporary patterns.

An exhibition of artist designed wallpapers opened yesterday at Musée de Design et d’Arts Appliqués Contemporains (mudac) in Lausanne. The ‘Face au mur’ shows the work of artists next to that of designers, all celebrating the recent revival of wallpaper in contemporary interiors.
