‘Women in Orient. Vu par Christian Lacroix’ is an exhibition that opened yesterday at Musée du quai Branly in Paris. The show is a display of 150 traditional womens’ costumes and accessories from the Near East, selected by designer Christian Lacroix and Hana Chidiac, Head of the North African and Near East collections at the museum. The wonderfully dramatic display shows off the beautiful costume to great effect. There will be more in the show in the next issue of COVER, out in March.
