Fanny Aronsen is a Swedish fabric designer who recently set up a new creative enterprise called the Fanny Aronsen Studio – a fantastic series of collaborations between Fanny Aronsen and ‘unique talents’. The new wool upholstery fabric design, Sigge, created by Fanny Aronsen and fellow Swede Sigurd Falk, is the first textile to come from the Fanny Aronsen Studio collection. Designer and DJ Sigurd Falk is only 18 years old but when Fanny, walking down the street, spotted an event poster that Falk had designed she contacted him to ask if he would create a fabric based on his beautiful pen on paper drawing. The result is Sigge, a contemporary, reversible upholstery textile with a flowing hand-drawn motif. It is the first of many exciting collaborations to come.
