Camilla Brent-Smith is a textile designer in the process of launching her first collection. She lived and worked in India during and after her degree, observing the ancient techniques of block printers and finding great influence in the country as a whole. Brent-Smith’s latest hand-drawn designs are inspired by India but also by Henry Moore, Alec Walker and Raoul Dufy. She adds: “The link between art and fabric is something that fascinates me, and I believe that the painterly feel of my fabrics make them as much something to hang on the wall as cover your sofa.”
