Ondule is a chair by French designer Mattis Esnault that came about following a call for projects from the French design schools. The chair cover comprises undulating waves of foam and Kvadrat fabric, which form a skin-like layer on top of the solid chair form. Esnault claims the chair is an exploration of sound waves and frequency as well as the potential of the materials.
