Otsuki Sama‘ – meaning ‘the majesty of the moon’ (a concept of great significance in Japanese culture) – is the name of a website selling textiles, wallpaper, stationery and accessories inspired by traditional Japanese crafts.  After spending 12 years living in Japan, French designer Valérie Bastit Laudier returned to her native France in 2011 to set up the brand. The work is a collection is based on a series of motifs inspired by traditional Japanese aesthetics and textiles dyed with natural indigo.
