Inspired by the relationship between a body and its clothing, Mexican company Mestiz has created a line of furniture and textiles that represents dressing up. Working with local craftsman, architect and designer Daniel Valero created the Mestiz N—1 Collection, which aims to celebrate the contemporary style and artisan techniques of textile crafts and regional tradition. All the textiles in the line were woven with treadle looms in workshops in Saltillo, Mexico. Like clothing on the body, the textiles add personality, protection, and comfort to the furniture.
