The current exhibition ‘Knoll Textiles, 1945-2010’ at the Bard Graduate Center in New York is “the first comprehensive exhibition devoted to a leading producer of modern textile design.” On until 31 July 2011 the show is a great display of work completed by Knoll Textiles over 65 years. Each decade takes a floor of the exhibition space and is a clear way of highlighting the changes and progression in style, weave, colour in fabrics that took place as Knoll as a company changed ownership and direction.
