  3. Studio Shamshiri for Christopher Farr

    To celebrate thirty years, Christopher Farr have teamed up with LA based interior design practice Studio Shamshiri to create a collection of handmade rugs that reflect the mythology and symbolism of cultures from around the globe. 

  4. Henzel Studio x Paddle8 benefit auction, 3-17 December 2018

    Henzel Studio have organised a charity auction, with Paddle8, of the Studio’s groundbreaking and unprecedented collections of handmade artist-designed carpets from which a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF).

  5. Christopher Farr x Irene Infantes

    The cover rug from our last issue came about as a result of premier rug brand Christopher Farr spotting the work of talented Spanish textile designer Irene Infantes at her graduate show at Central Saint Martins in 2016. Now the two have released a rug collection based on Infantes’ textile series The Social Life of a Material.

    in Arts. Infantes defines herself as someone curious who is inspired by anything that is intriguing; ancestry, the meaning of colours and symbolism in all their obscure and apparent nature.   8. New Designers: An Interview with Marleen V Haaften

    Marleen V Haaften is a young Dutch textile designer who works with a variety of raw materials to create very tactile rugs and textiles. In June, she will be showing work at London’s New Designers, as part of the Week 1, ‘One Year In’ display.

  9. Preview: ICFF 2018

    The main attraction at New York’s annual citywide celebration of design, NYCxDesign (11-23 May 2018), is the 30th edition of the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, 20-23 May 2018. Expect plenty of new material from the fifteen or so specialist rug brands exhibiting amongst 800 representatives of global design.
