Obeetee to launch in the UK
This December, Indian rug brand Obeetee are set to showcase their products to the UK market for the first time. After increased demand to bring its products direct to the British customer, the brand is hosting an exclusive event in London from 3-5 December 2019, where visitors will be immersed in the brand’s ethos and history and can see the range of premium products available.
Obeetee currently operates out of Noida, India and New York City, servicing the international market via an impressive retail partner portfolio. With an annual turnover in excess of $65million, its UK launch will see the brand expand its retail partnerships further to include select department stores and independent interiors boutiques across the country, as well as working with renowned interior designers on large scale domestic and commercial projects.
With an outstanding reputation and an incredible Indian heritage that spans 100 years, Obeetee is driven by design excellence, creating the most revered, distinctive rugs by highly skilled artisans who push the boundaries of colour, texture and pattern to bring to life visual masterpieces that are set to become iconic amongst interiors enthusiasts.
These hand-crafted creations are sought after by an exclusive international clientele, including royalty, oligarchs, high society individuals and celebrities, as well as grand hotels and government residencies all over the world, who often commission one-of-a-kind creations.
Obeetee rugs include intricate hand loom, hand tufted and hand knotted carpets that offer stylish, contemporary floor coverings in a multitude of designs, including marled stripes, bold botanicals, abstract patterns, Moroccan berbers and traditional vintage styles, as well as exclusive collaborations with international design connoisseurs.
Manufactured exclusively in India using both traditional and modern production techniques, as well as the highest quality natural fibres, all products are hand finished to a superior standard to meet award-winning quality control measures.
