Luxury Brands at Domotex asia/CHINAFLOOR

The 19th edition of DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR will kick off on March 21st bringing to the audience the latest of the flooring industry in Asia and beyond

DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR, the largest flooring tradeshow in Asia Pacific, is opening its doors to more than 50,000 expected visitors from March 21-23, 2017 at Pudong, Shanghai New Exhibition Centre. This year, the show is hosting a record number of over 1350 exhibitors from all over the world, while the gross exhibiting area has increased to 145,000sqm.  Visitors’ online registration will stay open until March 17th, 18:00 China local time. Admittance for pre-registered visitors is free.

The organizers are looking forward to presenting another outstanding show to the participants and celebrate together 19 years of growing success. A full program to serve the great variety and more and more vertically integrated visitors’ profiles has been developed to guide industry players through the developments and towards the future trends of the flooring industry.

For the first time, the show will host “Luxury Brands” handmade carpet presentation brought together in collaboration with COVER magazine. The presentation consists of an exclusive display area which will feature a curated selection of high-end hand-made carpets from some of the top international rug brands, namely: Amadi Carpets, Ariana Rugs, Art Resources, Ayka Design, Creative Matters, Hossein Rezvani, Knots Rugs, New Moon, Rug Star, Samad, Tissage, Wool & Silk Rugs and Zollanvari. Luxury Brands area will be located in the heart of hall W5 where the hand-made carpet exhibitors will show their great variety of area rugs.

cadex, the international event for connecting, learning and doing business in the design and architecture industry will be held for the second year concurrently to DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR. In hall W5, cadex works as collective of architecture and design-related stimulating content and will generate three days of conferences, networking events, interactive activities, creative display and much more. In 2017, cadex invites design masters to explore the most cutting edge and hottest topics within the industry, while key opinion leaders will hold forth of a variety of design salons in the cadex lounge area, allowing visitors to discover upcoming new material trends and enjoy never-seen-before installations.

The InnovAction Flooring program is again giving exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their products to the audience before and during the show and offers visitors an easy way to locate some of industry’s most innovative products. More than 500 new products have already been launched on the show’s dedicated online platform by over 400 exhibitors. Onsite, visitors will have the chance to preview and experience a selection of almost 50 new products displayed in the dedicated InnovAction Centres, located in halls W1 and E3.  In 2017, Mr. Ye Man – the renowned Chinese designer who represented China in the last Venice Biennale – acts as a curator of the InnovAction display areas.
